The seat of Sumner County, Gallatin maintains a large presence in spite of its relatively small population.  Several international companies are headquartered in the 22 square mile town, keeping the unemployment rate well below the national average.  Situated along the Cumberland river and manmade Old Hickory Lake, it’s a huge draw for water sports enthusiasts.
